Born in North Carolina and now based in Atlanta, Tyson Halford is a Southern rock-infused Americana artist whose gravel-edged vocals, riff-driven guitar work, and heartfelt songwriting deliver a raw, soul-stirring experience. Blending influences from Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, The Eagles, and Pearl Jam, Tyson’s sound is a high-octane fusion of rock, country, soul, jazz, and funk — grounded in authenticity both on and off the stage.
One of the Southeast’s hardest-working performers, Tyson plays more than 250 shows each year, from festivals and SEC tailgates to weddings, private parties, and packed venues. He fronts multiple projects, including Southside of the Tracks and a Highwaymen tribute act, while also leading Skyscraper Music LLC, a creative hub supporting emerging talent.
His original songs — including “I’d Choose You,” “High,” and the Sony-backed “Take It From Me” from his upcoming EP — showcase his deep connection to themes of love, loss, and the open road. A devoted family man and avid outdoorsman, Tyson Halford embodies the grit, heart, and soul of Southern music, turning every performance into a genuine and unforgettable experience.
